					Colt Pocket Hammerless 1903 .32 ACP serial number 536653 
					(ca. 1939) - this pistol and the FN Model 1905 with 
					their original accompanyi9ng shoulder holsters were brought 
					back as war trophies from Japan by Major James H. McMullen 
					following WWII.  The Colt factory letter for the Model 
					1903 Pocket Hammerless .32 ACP confirms that it was one of 
					5,000 pistols purchased by the Yokohama Specie Bank, Ltd., 
					Tokyo, Japan and shipped to Kawaguchiya Firearms Company, 
					Ltd. Tokyo Japan on January 3, 1939.

					James H. McMullin Obituary 
					 McMULLIN 
					James Henry McMullin ( Age 98) On Wednesday, February 28, 
					2018, James McMullin passed away peacefully. Beloved husband 
					of 40 years to Margaret Forbes McMullin, he was the 
					cherished stepfather to Elaine L. Crosby and Bobby J. 
					Crosby. Jim leaves his two brothers, Jerry McMullin and John 
					McMullin and a treasured sister, Peggy Ann Tallman. Also 
					survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and 
					nephews. 
 Born in Essex, Missouri, he graduated from University of 
					Missouri and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, 
					Kansas. He was assigned as Major and was a staff officer for 
					the 10th Army in the Pacific Theatre (Philippines and 
					Okinawa). Following the end of war service, Major McMullin 
					was selected to participate in the surrender of Japanese 
					Army elements on Miyako Islands and the Sakishima Gunto.
 
 Mr. McMullin left active military service in 1946, moving to 
					Arlington, Virginia and developing a real estate and 
					construction business which he actively managed during the 
					succeeding 72 years. As a Realtor during said period, and in 
					addition to his business activities, he was elected to the 
					Presidency of the Real Estate Board twice in 1959 to 1969. 
					In 1967 to 1977, McMullin served as the President of the 
					Virginia Association of Realtors. These activities came to 
					the attention of competition in national and international 
					affairs, i.e. he was elected to the prestigious Counselors 
					of Real Estate in 1970. He was also selected as a member of 
					the International Organization headquartered in Paris, 
					France, where he headed its counseling section in 1977 to 
					1978. During his considerable career in real estate he 
					developed several hundred affordable single family homes and 
					in a joint venture with the Borges family in Cuba they 
					produced the 1020 N. Quincy Street Apartments. Later he also 
					constructed a laboratory facility for the U.S. Government 
					and followed by developing an industrial park in 
					Springfield, Virginia known as Springfield Industrial Park. 
					Said development was undertaken with Middle East financial 
					assistance in 2001-2010. The result was a number of 
					warehouses and other types of structures. An avid 
					adventurer, Jim and Margaret traveled the world. Jim was 
					never without a book and was still reading up to a few days 
					before his passing. A visitation will be held at Murphy 
					Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, Virginia 22203 
					on Saturday, March 10, between 2 and 4 p.m. A full military 
					ceremony will be arranged at Arlington National Cemetery at 
					a later date.
