1948 Conversion Unit complete with original box,
instructions and all accessories. Listing of seven component
parts (as opposed to eight in pre-war box) for the post-war
.22 Service Model Conversion Unit printed inside box lid.
Takedown lever has a number "2" for .22 caliber stamped on
the underside of the lever. Sides of slide are mirror blue
and the top of slide and recoil spring housing are matte
finish.

Standard ".22 Service Model Conversion Unit (Floating
Chamber)" label on top of box. The reference to ".22-.45" on
pre-war and pre-post war box label has been eliminated.

1948 vintage standard end label. Note that upper "Colt"
label is not used and again, the reference to the ".22-.45"
has been eliminated.

Complete set of post-war components. Rear sight is slightly
modified from the Pre and Pre/Post-War unit. (rounded at the
rear of the sight.) Rampant Colt is present on the right
side of slide only (on pre-post war unit, Rampant Colt logo
visible on both sides of slide).
